I just spoke to someone at APR (Call 334-502-5181 for your own version)

Here is my post from about 45 minutes ago from a thread further down the page. I hope it makes some sense. And it is scheduled to be done relatively soon. Soon meaning there are only two other things to be done first. But, I'm not sure how long that will mean in acutal time. Anyway, read below and please call me (Jonathan) specifically to discuss this situation. Sometimes not everyone knows all the details.

https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/646025.phtml</a

amazing how APR has changed over the past 2-3 years
In the summer of '99, APR made a road trip to San Antonio and held a nice little demonstration of their stage III A4, stage II TT, and stage II S4 for our local club, South Texas Audi Gruppe. At the time, they were a small company...no distributors and a pretty small product line. But their service was impeccable. I think maybe they've gotten too big, too fast.
The focus seems to have shifted to the VW product line, which makes sense from a business standpoint, but leaves us out in the cold to a certain extent. Even their image has changed...if you look at their website, they seem to have dropped their full name altogether...Audi Performance & Racing is just APR now. Kind of sad, IMO. I think all of us would rather deal with a smaller company with a few very good products that they can support very well.
Incidentally, I have no complaints about the APR products I've bought, but I would like to see the TT 225 product line development prioritized.

You know - I guess I'm equally as frustrated with APR....
especially the "coming soon". You know - if it's gonna take a year - SAY IT. After several email on the status of the FMIC - I received no return emails. No more info on the site - except "coming soon". So like I said - WHEN? I'm reasonable - just tell me 3 months, 6 months, 1 year.....
Is that too much to ask?

Maybe they changed it because it seems that they don't care about servicing Audi anymore...
Just wait until the CFO figures out that there is more money in Honda than VW.. Sorry dubs.

lol...I agree 100% that you are allowed to have your opinions.......
but why was I lambasted here for having them (especially by you) and now you are feeding the same line.....what gives.
Givin' you a hard time but still, it is ironic no?

Re: Maybe they changed it because it seems that they don't care about servicing Audi anymore...
That's a more than a little ridiculous to say. If the cars weren't made with the exact same engine, it would be a different story. But come one, the same engine? Great cars? Why wouldn't we venture into it? Wait, don't answer that.
Please, most people here drive Audis, we're going to Petit LeMans because of Audi. It's just that if were to enter another market (say, a market that makes really, really fast cars and is closely related to Audi), we don't want to alienate them too. It has nothing to do with our commitment to the Audi market. The last product we released was for an Audi, Stage III S4. Before that, it was the Stage III for the TT 180 quattro.
