Default I little DVD help please.

Hi. I never got the safe code for my car when I picked it up. Now audi wants 50+ dollars to pull the head unit out and check the serial code. I just want to go with a in dash DVD/MP3 player. I searched but I didnt find what I was looking for. Any one have experance with them? Are there any out there that can fit and have the door over the head unit still close? Thank you again for any knowledge you have. Thank you. CaLaMaRi

Default The only one that will work and allow the cover to close is the Kenwood KVT 815

Default I got the system off a company from Ebay...I got a 3 year Warrenty with it at the time

of sale and paid right at 680...I had been looking to buy this unit for 2 years now but the price was over 1000 in most places...The install was 150 and they have the sensor wire disconnected from the parking break so I use DVD player while moving..I would buy it again without question

Default I didnt really like all those gauge things wtih the pioneer...Prob would not use

those that much...As for Nav it is seperate with this unit but can be added..I prefer the Nav unit seperate. That way not having to full around with different disks

Default You can add Nav but not sure if the 900 fit the din and have the door still close...

I thought the 815 look the best with the TT interior also...I wasnt looking to get the Nav right away either so that affected my decision. I plan on adding it later though
