Default I need a vag.com

I have a 2003 225q coupe and have decided to get a vag com. Is the ross-tech 409.1 with USB a good option?

You only get the full use with the Vagcom cord and then it is not the 409 version it is the 908 version. Get the USB corded version from them and you can use the full version and do much more with it. And the version with the Keycom interface is $249

Default Have you looked at Vag-check?

If you're looking to do basic stuff, it will clear check codes, etc. It works from a pocket PC. I used an older IPAQ, so it boots up immediately.

In fact, I sold my TT, but still have the IPAQ with VAG-check software and the ODB interface cable. If you're interested, I would gladly part with them cheaply.

How cheap?

I would like to get a Hex-USB+Can so I can have full function plus be able to use it on the newer audis should I decide to get one. I'm just not ready to part with $350 for what is now just a nice-to-have
