Default I now have the "show" mod's all on the car that I want..

so now it is time to decide the "go" mods!! I know alot of people prefer to do the go before the show: ) I have a 180 quattro. My qeustion is should i do a ko4 upgrade with alot of bolt ons and save a little money or spend the money to do a apr stage 3. I dont plan on racing the car on a track, just would like to play some on the streets.
Thanks

Default Well I really want to go with Apr...

but I am pretty sure I want to upgrade the turbo, so my only choice that I see is to get a ko4 which everywhere sells with a giac chip.

Default I did the chip and exhaust at same time b/c

I was touring Alabama golf courses and APR was on the way -- but when I turn off the APR chip you can tell the exhaust does make a difference.

So instead of going Stage 3, Go Stage 2 first and get a Forge 007 DV ---

If you go this route -- remember -- the engine will grow stronger and you will feel the effects of the chip more as you put more miles on.

With the exhaust, it will seem loud inside the car at first -- but it quiets down as you put more miles on it (the exhaust still growls deeply) -- after 22k miles with the chip and exhaust -- the cars seems faster and quieter all the time.

Default Simple answer for you.........

Start with the GIAC Chip if you plan on going the K04 route. If you already have the GIAC chip, then you get 500 or whatever off of the K04 turbo Kit because you already have the GIAC CHIP

K04+Exhaust = faster than stock 225 and can give the chipped 225 a run for its money. :P
