Default I picked up my TTR last night!!

The wait is over!!! I picked up my Lake-Silver 225 TTR, Baseball Optic last night! I know most of you know the feeling, but i felt like a 16-year-old with his first car, cruising around on the Fort Lauderdale Beach strip last night. Thanks to all of you for answering my myriad of questions while I was waiting, and a special thanks to Suittman for pointing me to his website so I could make my final decisions for exterior and leather color (they say imitation is the highest form of flattery!) If anyone in South Florida is looking to buy a TT, you've got to go to Champion Audi and ask for Jamey Holt. They run a class operation, and Jamey is very patient and knowledgeable. Can't wait to get behind the wheel this morning....

Picked my silver 225 TTR last Saturday. It makes me feel at least 10 years younger. At the PF Chang restaurant yesterday, a lady came up and asked if they made 4 seats car. In midsouth, TTR is really rare and exculsive.

Default Congrats! Florida contingent is growing like mad.

If you leave now you can make it to the LakeRidge winery in Clermont for the Quattro Club event!

Default exxxxxxxxcellent

TTR not all that common in Columbus, OH, either. I have some trepidation about "winter" (mostly slush & snow) because my garage is less than fully accessable (one lane driveway and too many cars). We'll see how that ragtop holds up...

Congrats Fort Laud. I'm in Coral Springs with a '01 silver with black 225 coupe. Lets get a local TT club together.

Sounds great...let's see how many South Floridians we can get to reply that they're interested.

Default So now you can attend the Official South Florida VW/Audi GTG on Dec. 1, 2001!

E-mail me for more info, or go to the thread in the News and Events Forum here...we will be holding the 7th, and final for the year, GTG in Hugh Taylor Birch State Park in Fort Lauderdale Beach on Saturday, Dec 1. Last event, we had over 70 cars, and 13-16 Audis, with over 100 people. Two TTs joined 5 S4s and a bunch of A4s...families welcome and food and drink supplied no charge. There is no fee, cover, or cost to attend other than the admission to the state park to get in ($3.25). We are non-profit, non-affiliated, and do not advertise other than posts on the net.

Hope you and a bunch of other TTers can make it!

For directions, flyers, or info, e-mail me at zackiedawg@aol.com.
