I saw a 2005 Saleen Mustang last evening

Last evening, while eating dinner, I spotted a very distinctive automobile. It resembled a new Ford Mustang but something about the way it carried itself spoke to more pent-up aggression. As the car pulled past the window, near where I was seated, I noticed it was a Saleen Mustang. The look of the car is very striking and bold. This is one of the first American cars I would actually consider owning, based on its looks. However, the real proof is in the driving characteristics. I am not interested in the quickest 0-60 times, I am interested in high-speed handling and driving over a wide variety of weather conditions--things that my TT can confidently handle.
However, I find it refreshing that cars like the Saleen Mustang are available at somewhat a reasonable price. I guess every day I start to think like my Father and view every car as expensive.

Someday I will decide what is my next car!

My brother used to have a 03 287 Supercharged version. It had decent power, but my brother always complained about the handling not being so good and the brakes werent too strong either. Another thing my brother complained about was there was too much noise when driving, you were able to hear everything moving and working in the car. Price was about $38k.

The 2005 Saleen is based on the new Mustang platform. I do not know if this improves upon the deficiencies you have stated but I really do like the looks of the car. It has solid aggressive, and expensive look. The car is the perfect car if anyone wishes to remake "Bullitt"

It would probably be more accurate to compare to the Lincoln LS / T-bird / Jag that are on the same platform.

at least it said Saleen on the bumper. It really didn't look good. It had a poor fit on the bumper. It didn't look like the 05 on their site. I thought he was just a wanna-be.
