Thought the same thing...

and especially like that the new top folds into place as it's own cover. Wonder if that will lead to more noticeable wear/fading on the front section over time though, compared to the mark 1s with the tonneau cover.

wow, that does look good, it flows much more nicely into the design vs the old top

Interesting as I think it does not look as good as the Mk I with the top up.

The side profile is not as distinct and there is too much slope for the rear window.

However, I do like the Mk II roadster with the top down more than the Mk I.
