Default I think the time has come...

for me to buy a powertool...

As I own none, except a truly excellent Cuisinart and some other such things. I once had a drill/screw/cord thingy but it was destroyed in the creation of my last Halloween costume: "The Iceberg That Sank The Titanic" (8 foot iceberg costume, with 4 foot model Titanic going through the headpiece... My proverbial dance card was full that night!!!). So, anyway, hot molten plastic doesn't come off of metal machinery stuff very readily, and such things are to some degree disposable...

Anyhoo, I feel the need to own a powertool. Any suggestions on a first step? i would prefer things that do not require the use of safety goggles, as I have a history with those, too...

TIA!

Default Milwaukee of course! But don't buy from Home Depot or equiv. as they are of lesser quality.

HD sells Milwaukee products, but they have it made to *their* specs and are generally less reliable. Recommend that you shop and buy from you local authorized dealer - you'll pay about the same price as at HD yet get the full quality that you need.
