Default I thought I show the new generation Forge 006 DV...this should end all discussion about piston....

durability etc. Really nice piece of work and once again the Forge DV compared to the OEM DV is not even a point of discussion. Some pics of the Forge before installing in AMULETT...

Opened up Forge and two variations of the OEM DV...can't you see the upgrade difference between the 'E' (early 2000) and the 'N' model OEM DV...;-)

The new all aluminum piston with a redesigned tip...I think this will reduce the air turbulance sound many hear from the Forge mated with a chipped car

And finally the side-by-side Forge vs OEM DVs

That's it for show and tell for now...

Default Questions - what do you torque the top bolts too? AND what type of lube to you use?

I'm gonna drop the coin and get an upgrade for my Forge. However, I wanted to know what to torque the bolts to or if you just tighten em by hand. Also - if I were to "lube" my DV - what type of lube do you use?

Default No torque specs for bolts...asked same question and just tighten up...

I did tighten in a 'star' pattern like installing an alloy wheel. Upgrade kit comes with special lube already...

Default how much for aluminum upgrade?

I am a little upset that just a month or so ago I let Pete know I had a problem with my Forge and he never eluded to this solution.

In fact, he played down the need for a new piston on our DV.
