Default I tracked my car at Laguna on Tues- the brakes are fried>>>>

the (stock) front brake pads were pitted, the material was just disintegrating from the heat. I should have taken pictures of it - it was bad. My dot o3 brake fluid boiled so the brakes felt squishy. When they (Griffen) bled the brakes they said the fluid was black. The rotors have dark spots on them from heat. The rotors are kind of shot now too. There was so much heat that the brake sensors burnt up... The lesson here I guess is that while they are fine for the street and some autocross, the brakes aren't so great for the track. So time for new brakes- I am thinking of getting the stoptech brakes - I will need new rotors anyway...
Oh and I had a blast at the track. It was my 2nd track event. I am hooked. My new suspension felt really good (koni/eibach). Now I just need a chip (and exhaust, DV, TTDA......yeah)

Stoptechs include 2 peice rotors (eigher slot or drilled) and SS brake lines.

Been there, done that too. I got Stoptech's and that took care of it.

Default I've been very happy with the performance and service of StopTech

I've tried a couple different pads, so far I like the Performance Friction C01's best for track use.
