Default License Plate Holes

So - the 4 holes for the license plate: Did your dealer add those? Are you adding a front plate? I'm hoping to get my dealer to NOT add the holes for the front plates - it's a little distracting with no plate there.

Default Re: License Plate Holes

I actually bought the car used and it had a front plate on the car when I bought it, actually I think it was around 5 minutes from the time she pulled into the garage that I already had the tools out necessary to yank off the plate/bracket. I admit that it is not the prettiest thing but for now......

After all of the tons of $$$ that I have spent on past cars, part of the deal with the wife was that I would leave the TT alone for 1 year (you can see how long that lasted...lol) So I recycle cans, beg for change, sell off old VW parts in order get my *mod* money so I must spend it wisely And a new front plate cover is pretty low on the mod list

Default I bought some plastic plugs from Home Depot...

and painted them silver to match.
Not as good as a virgin insert, but better than holes.

Default Is it lowered?

It looks lower than the stock TT.
If so, what did it involve? I assume new springs and tires - what kind did you og with? anything else?

Curious.

Neuspeed *Sport*
I like the springs but they definately are not going to get along with the stock shocks.
