Default I went to test drive a TT 3.2 at Princeton Audi in NJ (long post)

I went to take a few test drives at a few dealerships this afternoon, only managed to test drive a Mach 1 at Dayton Ford, and basically ruled it out - being 5'4" and feeling like my head was almost touching the ceiling - I wasn't happy about that at all, plus it even though it is a quick car - it didn't feel that fast - maybe it was because it only had 2.7 miles on the odometer - I dunno - but all I know was the seating position alone helped me decide finally that a Mach isn't for me.

Afterwards, I drove over to Princeton Audi. I was helped by a sales woman named Lou Anne, who was extremely friendly and helpful. They didn't have anymore TT 3.2's left - they had a TT 3.2 roadster, but it was sold, and being that I never drove a manual before - I wasn't planning on learning on a brand new TT - LOL. But we spoke about options, colors, and wheels. This is what I know, I am going to get the audio package, the premium package, maybe those 9 spoke 18" wheel, but I am not getting a navi. As for colors - I'm thinking Ocean Blue with a vanilla interior or Lake Silver with a blue interior. I am going to be in contact with her again this week about ball park figures on the monthly payments with Audi's Premier Finance plan that I am going to go with.

This week I plan on pricing insurance on it, plan a date when I am going to get it, but before I make anything definite - I want a test drive first. So it's looking fairly close now.

Default I would say odds are good that you'll love it when you finally drive one.

Granted, the 4-year old Porsche 911 (ok, 996) that I test drove a few days before buying the 3.2 handled better and was faster.....

Ummm...it's not a manual "manual". Only 2 pedals. You can't screw it up. :^)
