Default Idea...

I've been reading on here about the haldex unit, but I'm still looking into all of this, so if this is WAAY off... just tell me to shut up.

Wouldn't it be nifty if you could turn the haldex unit off while driving? Lets say you're on the interstate on the open road and you flip it off... that would be less resistance at the rear, correct?

Much like the system in the WRX's I guess. I'm sure there is a flaw somewhere in my idea... give it to me.

Default The Haldex works nothing like the AWD in the WRX. Cruising down the hwy Haldex is FWD...

...until the fronts slip.

Plus you are still sending power to the rear anyway spinning the drive shaft.

Default The really cool idea would be to figure out how to bias the power front to back.

But yeah...as the others said, the car is FWD til front slips.

You mean the previous model Legacy's, not the current and not WRX's

About all you can do is put the Race Haldex controller in to take it to 50/50
