Default If car is lowered with new springs are new shocks necessary

Am about to lower car with H and R springs, what is everybodies opinion about the necessity of adding new shocks? Anybody who has done this please respond.

Default OEM dampers are junk... if you are doing the springs, fork out the extra $$$ to...

do it right the first time.... you will not be disappointed....
