Default If I install a front mount intercooler?

If I install a front mount intercooler, will I lost all warranty or just part of it, and anyone install it,,,will it have problem I have 225 couple, after I install , will it be a big different?

If I was the OEM, I'd void your engine & drivetrain warranty.

Default Some dealers are ball busters and others are not.......

theoretically, there should be no reason to void a warranty for a more effecient intercooler.

on the other hand, I can see Audi blaming a blown turbo due to unproven design etc...

I think you are running a risk but that's part of modding.

All said and done, if there were a REAL problem, an intercooler is easily removable as it does no irreversable damage

Default They might give you lip...

But I would like to see them dispute in court that a bigger better intercooler made by Forge is worse and can blow a turbo

Default Probably not. I don't think I can swing the time.

1) I'm taking the CFA (level 1) exam on June 1; and
2) We're likely redoing our kitchen & the bathroom above the kitchen this spring / summer (full gut jobs) and we will likely not use a contractor (which means I'll be playing contractor).

A bigger intercooler can certainly increase the statistical probability that a turbo will fail.
