Default If you had $5K or so to spend on mods...

I am relatively new to the board and have been scouring old messages looking for advice on mods. I've been leasing my 2000 180QC in aviator gray since May of 2000 and just decided to buy it. The only work that's been done is a GIAC chip and rims. i leased it with all available packages. I'm looking for:
1. more hp!
2. suspension improvement (unfortunately I recently gave in to the recall, still no spoiler though)
3. no more ugly gap

Right now I'm leaning towards: k04 turbo kit, eibach springs and struts, milltek exhaust, p-flo air intake and a neuspeed 19mm rear anti-sway bar.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Default More turbo = more better.

If you have the cash ($1500?), the k04 is tough to beat for value.

Default From what I've read on here I wouldn't bother with the K04, just go for Stage 3.

Definitely do the suspension, well worth it.

Default Im thinking of the recall. What exactly do they replace and what do you think of it afterwards

I have a damaged control arm on the front right and this is mostly why I would get the recall.

Default Suspension and SIII

Suspension approx $1000 (inc install and line up)
SIII $4500 (approx inc taxes)
SIII intall $600-$800 (approx)

TOTAL = $6000 approx but worth every penny. You'll have a 300hp monster which can handle well and about 320-350 on race gas.

I'd also save up for some good brakes, with SIII you're gonna need em.

Default I'de do the eibachs/bilsteins, consider brake upgrade and go stage 3 FMIC and exhaust or

just do suspension and some brake mods and invest the rest or buy other stuff since whatever you blow on the TT you will never recoup.

Depends on what deal you get with the mods (wink) but agree, you loose about 1/2 in mods
