If You Just LOVE Those Airbag Stickers Then You Should Write a Letter to Audi -->
and tell them so. All auto makers don't have non-removeable stickers, e.g., Volvo and Mercedes.
If you hate them negotiate $150 off the purchase price so that you can get replacements.
The NHTSB (whatever) says that the stickers should be "difficult" to remove - not permanent! And the consumer can remove them - just like mattress tags - if they want to.
Now I don't want to insult any bureaucrats out there but sometimes they impose laws that are beyond reason. They make 100% of the public suffer for the sins of the few.

i think congratulations are in order ...
i consider myself pretty damned ****, but trying to negotiate a $150 lower sticker price on the grounds that the stickers are intolerable and will have to be removed even crosses my line in the sand. nice work.

This reminds me of an extremely annoying thing about stickers...
You know how when you buy something (particularly any glass, pot, etc. and it has a price tag on it, when you go to rip it off it will usually make a big mess. Sometimes stores get better quality stickers that peel off with no fuss or mess but the other ones are so god damned aggravating.
