Default I've written a lot on this, and others have too. I'd recommend doing a search here. However...

If your vehicle qualifies, then Audi is unlikely to fight you. Just make sure that you have all receipts and also that you have requested factory assistance. You'll ultimately end up talking to the regional factory service rep, and he/she can be reached via your dealer's service dept. It's also a good idea to request that "customer requests manufacturer's assistance" be plainly written on one or more service invoices.
