i'm able to turn my radio on even after i take the key out of the ignition - is this normal?

Default Yes - if you turn car off with radio on, it goes off - but you can then
turn the radio on without key.

...and it will stay on for an hour. You can then cycle it again for another hour up to 5 I think.

Default I wish it was like my Boxster...
...and the radio stayed on until I remove the key from the ignition. Often, I arrive at my destination and want to stop the engine, but want to hear the last of some news story. But I miss some as I stop the igntion and quick turn the radio switch off then on.

On the Boxster, I just turn the ignition off, listen to the radio until I'm done, and then remove the key from the ignition.

A minor thing, but it is nice.
