Default I'm beyond puzzled, low boost. Help?

It's a 2001 225 Coupe with a MTM chip, have a boost gauge, 3 gear WOT was around 20psi, leveling out to 16-17.

Now the car cant hit 15? More like 12?

jeebus, so I took the car to a friends shop, he smoke tested the thing, nada, no leaks

ran it through a computer, no codes.

swapped for my original ECU, drove the car, boosted the same amount, it's almost as the chip programming vanished?

Default How old's the MAF Mike?....>

If it's not outputting enough, it will tell the ECU to WHOA on the boost..

Default Hey Steve, It's about a year old, they usually go up after 12months

or that was my experience. I did unplug it, and ran the car...same thing

Default Should be OK....>>

Specially if you unplugged it and no change...
How old's the temp sensor? Bad one of those can hold things back by telling the ECU the car is hotter than it really is..

Default hey Steve forgot to mention

all this steamed from me hitting a pretty big rock, that bent the pendulum mount, and ripped apart the under tray. I inspected the post cast O2 sensor and found nothing.

any ideas?

Default Can't think of anythng down there...>>

That could have been damaged except maybe the SMIC's and hoses, but they're off to the sides..
