Where can I buy an aftermarket hood that will allow me to see through it if I chose to drive with the hood open?
I drive very fast and I think the aerodymics would be greatly improved if the hood was open during maximum acceleration. I've tried it with my head out the window to see around the hood but that hurts my eyes because I have this Clockwork Orange look going with toothpicks propping my eyelids open.
Any help would be appreciated.

I wouldn't want to be stuck on the side of the road when a herd of that stuff decides to cross!

lurking on this forum for a while now and have noticed something called "Stage 3" mentioned here. I think that if wire up this super mod called stage 3, move you're engine back about 3 feet or so, disconnect your kwatro, and put in a Ford 9 inch rear end, you could make a good old fashion "Wheelstander"! That way you wouldn't have to worry about looking thru the hood. If you take a close look at the picture I posted, you can see the plexiglass window in the floor of this cool wheelstander called Maverick.

I figure you could open that gas tank up again and call yours "Flamethrower" or somethin. That way you could hit county fairs every once and a while to pick up some spare cash. I know being a lawyer pays crappy, and you could probably use a little extra dough.
Anyway... after you engage the Stage 3, you'll have a clear view of the road during full acceleration. Then me and Clem could help you set up rear brakes which we could proportion from right to left so you could steer.
Since I'm a newbie like you, I'm sure that I'm just re-hashing someone elses idea. There's probably already a TT like this in the bunch, so I'll look to get Torched (or is it Flamed?) with my stale idea. Just tryin to help out another newbie. Hope this helps!!![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
In my sig pic you can see that we already installed stage 3 on Ma's bike. We're having some problems with the window though.... hmmmm.
