Default I'm committed... to joining the TT club! (kinda long)

Hi there, everybody!

I just wanted to drop in this 'introductory' note and let you know about my recent TT experience.

For the last few months, I've been considering buying a TT Roadster. Actually, lusting is more of the word. But of course, I wanted to save up some money for it first. In the meanwhile, I've been reading this forum (almost religiously, I might add) and living vicariously through the rest of you.

On Saturday, I went to the Audi dealer that I like (there are two not far from me, but I don't really like one of them) and went for a test drive in a 225 Quattro Roadster.

WOW!

I expected to like, or even love the car. But driving it was beyond my expectations. It was incredible... I can now close my eyes and envision everything... the beautiful lines, the exhaust sound, the wonderful interior, etc! I think that I'm hopelessly hooked!

My girlfriend says that the car is nice... but I think that she's tired of hearing me talk about it. Oh, well...

So I've definitely made my decision. Since I live in CT, I'm going to order my 225QR (Brilliant Black/Baseball/Premium/Bose/5-spoke) in January, so that I can take delivery in late March or early April. And I can't wait.

I am, however, still wondering about one thing: What will be the better part about this... Having and driving the TT, or all the great new friends that I'll make with the people here on the forum?

Oh... there was one downside to test driving the TT. When I got back into my '89 Saab 900, it felt REALLY slow!

Cheers!

Default Both are the best parts but the "Forum Family" really makes the TT experience!

Welcome aboard (early).

Default My suggestion

is to get the TT ASAP and start driving a piece of art that is also a top of the line sports car. With it automagically comes all the great folks on this forum and the social events we share and enjoy.
