Default Keep the faith...

the car will be worth nothing on the market...
It deilvers more smiles than 98% of the cars on the road and still looks fresh as a daisy

And I need company in my misery ;-P

Default Finish sailing trip........drive car...................see how you feel then!

you're right in the fact that these cars (and all used cars right now) suck on what they bring. you've done an expensive stgIII you won't get your money out of.

maybe sell the jeep, pick up a TDI Touareg or something. Or keep the jeep, if it's paid off (it's carbon footprint has been made) and pick up a reliable daily driver if the TT is annoying you.

Default Yeah, they're both paid for...

and I'm certainly not looking for a car that requires a payment. I'm really just exploring the possibilities.

Default you wont get diddly as a return on this investment >

while i know you weren't looking for a return to begin with, it's just.... it seems that if you sell it, you'll sell all the memories you've had, the emotion you get when you sit in it, drive it.

maintenance is a PITA, especially on a STG3 car, you've got it in you. trust me.

keep her. don't get rid of her.

think of all she's brought you, smiles, friends, knowledge, etc etc

Default No way should you sell the TT, Chip.

Sell Jeep now and bank the cash for when you return.
Let wife pick out something for herself then.

I agree that the money you will get for TT is a joke.
Plus you will regret it for years to come.

A contemporary mass produced car is not an investment.
