I'm gonna throw this out and hope the Forge/Revo guys are paying attention. (long)

Granted that APR has made some quality products, but there have been issues with customer service and stringing along the TT crowd, especially us 225s, and their new DPP (which supposedly Revo stole) seems to have some big flaws. While once I was going to go exclusively with APR for my mods, Forge/Revo has now become my tuner of choice. Personally I think their products and customer service is superior (but still waiting on '03 software, dammit!)
Anyway, I think if Forge/Revo made a concentrated effort on the 225 TT market, they would make a lot of people happy and fatten their wallets in the process. I think it would be fabulous if they were first to develop a thorough yet affordable 225 stage 3 upgrade. I wouldn't give my right arm, because then I'd be unable to shift gears
but I would seriously be one of the first to buy it.
That's all I got. It's late.

That comment was more on the level of the probability of this happening. It would seem a lot more feasible if the companies had developed various turbo kits in the past is all I'm saying.

for all VAG models I am sure they will be progressing on to turbo work , we will then offer our services to woerk with them and hopefully produce a good kit , but this will take time

All of the sudden the VR6 Twin turbo convertion seems cheap at 20 Grand. plus you can sell your 1.8 for about 2 or 3 grand.
$12,000 plus install about $3,000 = $15,000 320 HP
$20,000 minus $3000, (sale of 1.8)= $17,000 550 HP

...now on the market. What do you consider affordable? BTW I assume any 225 kit will be priced about the same as the 180s.

add <$1000 for install, you will sell a lot of kits. Anything that begins to push the $6k+ range...people are turned off, as it pushes the $$ limits.
I would get a stgIII kit if it was below the $5k mark...no doubt.
I agree that Revo can be the ones to take the initiative in this market.
