Default Do you have a FWD TT? Do a quick search on the

word "lead" .. in the TT Forums and you'll read posts back to 1999. It's there for a reason.

yeah, thanks, i realize its "there for a reason"...

there was a lot of conflicting information, aswell as no pics or instructions... hence the creation of THIS thread...

I have a 2k1 quattro coupe... some threads said only the FWD's had it, some said "ALL TT's HAVE IT"

Default FWD have bigger. I remember only one or two people taking it out of

the FWD. I'd say that unless you were a real pro with cars and their aerodynamics...best to leave it in. As I remember, the quattros have a small amount, but nothing to the extent of the FWD. The Haldex quattro system provides much of the weight that was needed in the FWD.

well i'm going to move my battery to the trunk... so that should do the same... no reason to have extra weight on the car...
