Default Im pretty sure this was posted before, but for newbies:

yes you can fit 235's in the front with no problem, was forced to last night after an encounter with several nails and bolts.

Default Not a good idea to stagger size's on an fwd car like yours or

and all wheel drive car. Bad handling dynamics.

Default A fwd car with a front engine has all the vehicle weight over

the drive wheels. Your front tires provide 80% of your handling characteristics (lot's of understeer). Having larger tires at the back doesn't contribute any additional grip that would improve handling.
The deal is even worse in a quattro car as the system attempts to redirect power to the rear based upon slip rates which would now be different from the front.

Porsche 996 C4 and 996TT are both AWD and staggerred.
