Inspired by the TT, my NB Turbo "Chop Top Coupe"

Had discussions with Darren Pritchard at HPA, last spring/early summer about doing this for my Reflex NB. He was very interested in doing it as part of the planned GT6 Stage3 conversion, and to his credit was open minded (checked out my bike projects and took me as serious, which I was) seeking solutions to make it work. I figured since we were going to be hacking the floorpan...why not? I had already figured on the dollars for the GT6 conversion, but with the chop top coupe (CTC)concept...it was looking a bit fool-hardy in the economic clime then (and what came to be).
I was deciding on this or importing Ian Drysdale's 1000cc V-8 motorcycle from Australia, but there were some certification issues not resolved, so I let that go for now.
Instead of either, I decided on the TT when I saw the ALMS Avus, and did the goTTzilla mods, which hopefully is just Phase 1 of more, um..."involved", development. The platform is so much better than the NB to begin with and already has the Haldex so from a dollars point of view makes more sense. Even though I truly like the NB the TT is a different class of vehicle. The economy looks to be a mess for quite awhile so we'll see, but I have touched base again with Darren, as well as others. I'm always thinking of/doing something
...but it'd sure help if we knew what was going on from APR regarding the Stage 3 for the 225. HINT to whoever is listening!
I just "stumbled" upon The CTC NB Turbo folder in my computer and saw the photoshop workup I had done for Darren. Would've been a hell of a project. Timing is everything, and money always helps.

93 octane program is on the dyno now, Stage 3 coming@ 365hp on 93, 400+ on 100 octane per the Apr Guys. They were hedgy on the turbo being used and indicated price would be a bit more than the current 180 stage 3 because of this....

I spoke to the guys at h20...
Heres what they say.
"Well...we have promised to make the kit, so we will stick to our word. The 225 is next on they dyno"
From that, its safe to say that it will materialize...and after taking the time to create the 180 Q kit, it would be a crying shame not to employ that effort into creating a 225 package.
So anything you hear from unconfirmed sources is either,(a) having trouble making a kit that fits, or (b) having too many issues with kits on other motors and is spending time correcting them.
After all APR have no reason to lie...they have a great rep with chips alone, and have many S3 kits out there running great.Yeah thier delivery estimates are off by a bunch when it comes to products but they do deliver...I am proof of that.
I waited 2 years for S3.
I also asked about the stage 3+
I'll be first with that ;-)
Cam swap and a turbo swap....a hybrid GT turbo actually...
