Default installed blueflame cat back yesterday.. very nice ... but...

I will need to get the middle mounting bracket for a better final and solid fit.

Sound is civilized yet assertive. I like the tips the best of what I have seen out there.

Also - the larger pipe of this catback system (2.75 vs 2.5) is a better match for the increased flow from the 3" dp.

in the end - two thumbs up.

Default It will get a bit louder over time but not much and also I recommend...

getting a new flange and loosing the OEM clamp which connects the exhaust to the DP. Have a shop weld up a piece to the blue flame using the new flange for a direct fit. Your 3" DP is going down to 2.5" then back to 2.75". A local shop quoted me $40 to do it work.

Default yes, I had my guy do that already yesterday .. and it cost me $40 bucks also :-)

my system is tig welded all the way back. I always prefer welds over clamps.

Default I left it at my tuners shop.

and he is holding it for me.. ideally some SO FL guy can use it. Shipping would be a pita - but not impossible.

Default Blue Flame claims 15 hp increase over stock??????

That would be real nice on my stock but APR chipped and boost machined car. Think that increase is for real??? If I could measure ANY improvement in 40 to 80 accel time I would get one. Don't really want louder.
(Just faster :-) )

I'm guessing it is welded so it can't be taken down?
