Default Instrument Cluster -F#@k

I know that people have had trouble with the "resetting" of the instrument cluster & now I have it @25K miles. It happens on cold starts, the tach dies and the clock readout blinks twice then goes off for about 5 seconds. When it returns, the clock is at 12:00, July 31, 1998.

Any cures short of total replacement?

Thanks in advance.

Mike

Default Get it replaced... a few 'tricks' will temporarily fix it (maybe)...

but a new one, and sometimes MULTIPLE replacements, have been necessary. Schedule an appointment and get it done. If it is intermittent, take a digital picture of the issue when it occurs and use that for back-up.

Good Luck!

Default

R&R fuses 11 & 15. If you're feeling up to it, pull the cluster and check/secure wiring into cluster
