Default instrument cluster replacement worked

another data point for the archives: as most here predicted, swapping the instrument cluster out fixed the optimistic gas gauge, and the trip computer and date/time no longer reset when starting the car. as an added benefit, the new cluster's illumination is a little bit brighter.

it's really nice to have an accurate cluster again.

Default Re: instrument cluster replacement worked

Any advice on replacing instrument cluster? Was it a straightforward procedure? Are there any website based instructions for removing it? Have a bad temp gauge...
