Replaced mine a year ago at the dealer, cost $609.79...

when you change the cluster do your miles change?

Default You get one chance to program the miles...

when the dealership installs the cluster they set the miles to match the old cluster. This can only be set once so if you do it wrong you need another new cluster. It also means that if you buy a used cluster that the mileage will be off.

Default my cluster went out this week--nie wieder Audi!

It started by telling me the coolant level was dangerously low, which it wasn't. Then everything went haywire. Now there's no read on the tacho or the speedo; no oil level, no temp indication. How much gas do I have?! It makes beeping and buzzing noises when you start the car. Occasionally it tells me the oil level is low.

You could tolerate this kind of expensive problem if it were related to high performance or driving hard. But to me it seems like nothing more than shoddy materials. And it is absolutely outrageous.

Nie wieder Audi!!
