Intercooler Q: Anyone know the diff between 180TT IC and GTI/turbo beetle IC?
Is there a difference. I really like the idea of the Forge uprated side mount, but they don't have it listed for the TT. I'm trying to figure out if there would be any difference between the side mount on the 180 TT and the GTI/turbo beetle. Why wouldn't you be able to bolt up the Forge side mount for the GTI onto the TT? By the way, I have a 180 FWD coupe. Thoughts?

I cant 100% confirm, but there is apparently a difference.
I believe someone in the UK tried this and the mounting points were a bit different. I suppose if you wanted to custom mount it and be prepared to make custom pipes if needed, it would work. When I install my next 180 FMIC I am going to be taking some measurements to find out how big of a SMIC could fit in the TT for Forge.
