Default Interesting info concerning R32 front control arms.....

looks like they are essentially MKI TT control arms. Apparently they use the same front bushing as the MKI TT control arms. Therefore - it looks like we TT owners might have another source for them..........

Default Good news! I've wondered where to find replacements if I ever needed them.

Of course once VAG realizes that we know what they are the price will jump up 10x.

Default Since i've not seen a pic of them - but a thread on control arm bushings indicated

that the R32 front bushing is the same part number as the original MKI TT control arm bushing which is also a direct replacement for the MKIV VAG cars control arms even though they are different. Here's a pic from the post - showing a TT MKI control arm. Apparently the VW guys are using TT control arm bushings in their control arms instead of poly for better steering response.

Default Well there goes my theory of getting poly bushings for my mk1 arms...

doesn't sound like there's any improvement there.

Default Yeah - I got some for my MKII's since the MKI's I bought turned out to be...

MKII's. BASTARD tried to rip me off. Finally got it all settled and got my money back. I'm also just doing the fronts instead of both. Just to let you know - CPP is doing tubular ones for the R32 - so they should bolt right on. I'm sure they won't be cheap - but.......
