First of all, fifth Audi, so I SHOULD know how this works, right? Sheesh. Anyhow, with the main interior light switch in the MIDDLE (not - or O), dome light doesn't come on when driver's door opens (hmm -- gotta go check and see if pax door does same thing). Regardless, anyone else have same issue?

Should be simple switch if pax door works, and dome switch (?) if it doesn't, I think.

Common, just replace under warrenty.

Click the link below and read the procedure for reproducing some symptoms of the "Lock Light" bug. If your car exhibits the same symptoms, then the fix is to have the central locking electronic module replaced. Others have reported that the bug can be fixed by improving the grounding of the module, but just tell you dealer to fix it once you can easily reproduce the bug for the service writer to witness.
