Default Iraq financed Bin Laden attack?

An article from the World Tribune, headlined, "Israeli Intelligence: Iraq Financed Attacks." This story has also made the cable networks as well as the news networks.

This link shows the first few paragraphs of the article, but requires a subscription for the full text.

Default Saddam - another example of US training and money gone wrong

Who else is there? Oh yeah, Osama Bin Laden!
Come on people, the list of chickens flapping around trying to come back home is so long it scares the living daylights out of me. We should not really be asking who was responsible for Tuesday any less than we should be asking who trained them.

Default Consider the Source...

Ah...Israel. Now there's an unbiased source.

This is completely rediculous. bin Laden is a billionaire. The last thing he needs is to accept money from Iraq.

If anything, I'd be willing to believe that bin Laden did little more than finance the attacks. I was reading a batch of new stories from 1998 which pretty much painted him as a guy with a big mouth and lots of money. I'm sure people come to him with ideas and he gives them money. At least, that's how the 1993 World Trade Center bombing worked.
