Default Its amazing how much a DV can screw shhhhtuff up..

I was being robbed of some serious power with my forge 007P .. I had some serious problems with it (I don't know what is wrong with mine), and forge has offered to exchange it for a DVR.. =) I have to give forge a lot of credit, they have some excellent customer service.. Im very happy with forge and will definitely send more business their way.. My next mod will most likely be their intake hose.. =)

Oh as for what was wrong with it, well I knew power was off and on for the past couple of months and I couldn't figure it out.. Ive been cleaning my DV every 2 months, so I didn't think it was the DV, but once I installed the forge intake (thanks gary), I was able to hear that the DV was dumping some air into the intake system on WOT runs.. It made me happy that I was finally able to figure out what was going on because about 1 year ago I was racing an IS300 and I wasn't pulling.. My friend was laughing and I was like WTF.. I destroy these things.. well, on another run that I did with this guy, we are dead even for about 2 seconds, then WHAMM.. power comes on and I just start pulling hard.. I start screaming to my friend, you see, you see.. Power is on and off.. He agreed.. =( Well, that puts an end to that chapter.. =)

With the stock DV in the car, shes running real good.. Nice consistent power.. =) Im looking forward to this DVR.. I hope it runs as good as my forge 007P did 24,000 miles ago.. =)
