I've got a DV-R. Does diverter valve fluttter typically occur from a too-stiff spring, or too light?

I modded my stock airbox a little (i.e., cut the bottom out) and now my turbo is much more audible, I get a couple more PSI on the boost gauge...but my DV flutters a WHOLE lot.

I need to play with the springs, but the stiffest one is in there right now. Do I need to double-up or go lighter?

Isn't the bottom of the airbox the clean side?!

Default The stiffest is too stiff..>>

Lighten it up, but my experience is that some Forge Diaphram valves flutter no matter what you do,

How do you have it oriented?

Default Yeah, just get a VTDA and be done with it - IMO

Why modify the stock box?

Default thats very typical with the DV-R... maybe try installing it normal instead of backward with the

green spring and it wont be as fluttery. I dont know why but I like the fluttering. Im using the blue spring and it is reversed and thats where I find it the best to hold boost for me

Normal. The only way I could get rid of the flutter with my airbox stock was with the stiff spring.
