Default Jerked an R32's chain this weekend

we were driving in a village (30mph) and at the end of the village there is a 4 way stop sign that leads into two lanes and at 1/4 it goes to one lane and after another 1/4 splits back to two. So I was messing with him the whole time we were in the village, throwing revs, eyeballing his chick, the whole bit. We get to the stop sign and he is in front of me, he goes, barks the tires and takes off... well, I have to wait for a slow *** van to turn left in front of me before it's my turn to go.. I got a great launch and the way I figure it is that the R32 had plenty enough time and understanding that I would be coming up on him hard as to catch him and pass him while were still in the first set of double lanes, as to say, he had to have been accelerating too. At 110 I blew past him and slowed way down for him to catch up. When he finally caught up, I punched it again but he didnt take the bait, he turned instead. So, you name it, either no guts, because after all we were in a 45 zone, or the gf was bitching at him, or his car simply didnt have it. I think its a combo of all three. I had fun, but no joy in kicking his *** straight up.

My guess, he didn't want to go 110 in a 45 mph zone ...

Default My take, he was not even trying. Anytime someone catches up and blows by me when I clearly had

the launch is that I'm not excelerating anymore. Why should I excelerate when I have a clear jump and I have to wait for someone to catch up.

That is my take. No biggie. Find another R32 that really wants to play. I did and they are not slow by any means. Just about even with my setup or a stock 3.2 TT.

Enjoy..

Or even a slightly modded 180. I had no real issues with a R32.

Just think, if you were in a 65mph zone you could have done 170

yea...when I drove it, I was impressed because it is solid and sounds great, but TT is still faster.
