Default just a brain fart... yeah, yeah, u peeps told me not to go thru a car wash...

My baby was VERY salty, so I went thru this car wash after a carfeul investigation of a few other establishments... plus I've seen other nice cars going thru their wash...

I now have a fine blue line across from the door to the back quarter panel. I guess this is my second mod to my TT... he... =(

Default I've winter washing down to a science>>>

Go to a Self-Serve Powerwash Place
Spray wheels down with wheel cleaner while waiting in line
Powerwash with spray soap and spray rince only...no brush
Every 3rd or 4th time I break the rules and bucket wash....F them if they can't take a joke
drive home
In the garage, don't dry it...go over the whole car w/ McGuires mist and wipe detailer.
finish off the paint with the spray Zaino stuff
Detail the wheels with the mist and wipe and/or Zaino
Windows
Inside

and you're done....all in about 1 hour...
Now, drive it for 2 minutes outside, get salty and start all over again.

Man, I love Cleveland

If you gotta use a car wash, it should only be a touchless type

Default I'm always afraid of wiping it down w/ no water on it....that gucky film is all over it

I have myself convinced the water provides more lube thus less swirl marks.

Of course, I could be kidding myself
