Going to Madison with a friend
and he wanted to know how fast the car CAN go. So I pushed it up to around 139 or so, could have been faster. I felt the rev limited and I left off. Then I coasted, as to not heat up my brakes for no real reason. Then out of no where my V1 goes off laser, and I see a cloud of dust kick up from under a bridge in front of me. I am like "oh ****", and yank my V1 off the window, and the trooper pulled me over.
Just a friendly "do you know how fast you were going"... "no sir, maybe 80 or so". He replied with a calm "109mph". Goes back to his car, comes back with a ticket. Asked how the car handled at that speed, and of course I did not know what he was talking about ;-).
In court I got a reduced conviction with my lawyer, which is near impossible since I had 3-4 previous tickets. Then I went to traffic saftey school, and got some points back, but got opne last ticket that put me over my 12 point limit. So they took my license away for a few months, but I got an occupational license. Honistly it was no diffrent at all.
