Just got the story from DTM Autohaus regarding the SGI vented hood. It's made of GFK and epoxy.

GFK (Glass, Fiberglass, Kevlar) is used for it's strength and "non wave" quality and the epoxy is used on high end materials like carbon fiber to prevent shrinkage of the hood.

Do you paint the underside of the hood or just the topside?
