Just Ordered a Turn 2 Pulley - Price has dropped a lot
Hi all.
Haven't posted in a while, but it should be warm soon (I hope), the car is off warranty now, and it's time to keep modding...
Anyway, I ordered a Turn 2 pulley yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised to find that the price is down to $99 including shipping. It was around $230 when I looked in the fall. Hadn't seen this posted, so I thought others might be interested.

they stated it wouldn't effect the performance and would take 15% off but I don't feel comfortable putting something that's damaged, even slightly in my daily driver. Hope they don't send you mine, haha!

I agree with them, don't think those nicks would matter>>
I just did the timing belt on a friends old 4000 quattro... converted it to the later style "super torque" belt & sprockets from a 90. I nicked the crank sprocket much worse than that taking it off the donor engine.

A lot posted on this subject ...
The installation is supposed to be pretty easy if you have the right tools.
In terms of gains, you are lightening the pulley attached to the crankshaft, so the engine can spin up faster. People who have done it indicate that they have seen more engine responsiveness at lower RPMS.
I'll post an update once it is warm enough to go outside and actually install it without my hands sticking to the wrench.
