Default Just Spec'ed Out My TT Roadster...(more)

My dealer just called this morning and had me come in to spec out the colors and options on my TT Roadster (I'm 1st on their list and was told my car should arrive late April to early May).

I chose Lake Silver Metallic with a black convertible top and Ebony interior. For options I chose the Premium Package (which consists of heated front seats, xenon headlights, 17" 6 spoke alloys with 225/45-17 tires), and the audio package (Bose + 6 disc CD changer).

I wanted to order a 225 hp Quattro, but was told that the initial allocation of TT Roadsters to the U.S. will only be 180 hp cars, so I guess I'm locked in to a 180 hp FWD car. Is that right?

The dealer had no pricing sheets, just the specification sheet. I heard that base price on the 180 FWD TT Roadster is to be $33,000, so with shipping it will run $33,500. Adding in the options of the Premium Package and the Audio Package, and I'm guessing that my car should sticker for approx. $36,000 to $36,500.

If you want a copy of the dealer order sheet, e-mail me direct at viperbrad@home.com and provide me with your fax #, and I'll fax it to you. Only shows color combos and options - no pricing. BTW, the Amber Red baseball stitching interior is available on the following color cars: Brilliant Black, Nimbus Gray, Raven Black, and Lake Silver. It is not available on Amulet Red or Desert Green.
