he didn't touch camber front or rear! The print out is also in degrees AND minutes! Not just degrees so i'm not comparing apples to apples. JEEZ - talk about frustrating.
What I thought was 1.05 degrees is actually 1 degree .05 minutes. He said that was about 1.1 degrees.
I looked at the car this am and theres still room for more camber up front and the rear might be at 1.8 degrees - like the previous days printout. It's reported at 1 degree and 51 minutes on the current printout, but was reported as -1.8 degrees on the previous printout.
I hate this!

and he knows how to align a car to behave in a particular manner or just bring it up to spec. His handle is alwaysracin in the Norcal forum. He races a Miata and has been raking in several trophies now. He also owns an Audi.

with an alignment rack like me and just DIY. Sorry couldn't resist. I do buy the shop guys pizza for lunch the next day though. Alignment is not that bad but does take time esp. if you move the subframe. I've spent several 2 hour sessions getting it dialed in to what I want. On lowered cars like ours, it's really hard to get a lot of neg camber up front unless you start to change the length of the lower control arms. Perhaps we need a KMAC for the front bushing on the lower control arm? Anyone care to figure that out?
The issue that I have found is that the instruments although precise are not very accurate (i.e. they can not repeat measurement values). So I don't try for really tight numbers because they will change by simply rolling the car off the rack and back on.
I go for these...
camber: +/- 0.1 degrees side to side
toe: +/- 0.05 degrees side to side

and spend the time to do it right. Too bad the guy who did the alignments left and opened a place in Gilroy CA. That's a 4 hour round trip without traffic - up to 7 with :-(
