Default Key Fob Prob

Ok guys I tried to do a search on this problem but cannot seem to find the solution. I recently had a new cluster installed in my 01 qutattro roadster225. I could only find one key when I took the car in to have it fitted. I found my other key and put in new batteries then programed it to the car. Both keys work but the one I lost and refound sometimes will only start the car for about two seconds. If I pull that key out and use the good key the car will start then if I shut it down and use the bad key to start it the car keeps running. What could this be?

Default My dealer here wanted ALL four of my keys to program to car after a cluster install.

Why not just take both keys back to the dealer and have them re-program?

Default Immobilizer chip is not synced to the cluster.

Take all the keys back to the dealer and be real nice. Maybe they wont charge you again since they just changed the cluster. By the way---- This would be a great time to get a new valet key if you don't have that, and a new plastic emergency key too. I keep mine zip tied under the car and it has saved me on a couple of occasions. (Don't lay your key down in the trunk while you look for something!)

J, that's is a freakin' super idea (as I've nearly done the same exact thing in the trunk!). THANKS
