Default Kind of an odd ball questions but....

Why does it seem that everyone is so big on these California Water Blades instead of using a natural chamee (sp?).

Default I use both a blade and a synth chamois...

First the blade takes about 95% of the water off the car quickly. Then I go over it with the synth to get the rest. This is much faster IMHO.

Water Sprite Plus better than chamois. Bought Water Blade, have yet to use it. Fear factor.

That way, even if you get scratches, they'll be 'murrican scratches!

Problems with natural chamois - remove too much wax and need proper maintence to maintain softness

Default With the silicon blade, far less friction is required to remove the water...

minimizing wax removal as well. If is also faster I agree, but only safer on a hand washed car.

I do the same thing blade + syn chamois.

Default I find that the waterblade works great >>>>

I have used it on my pst 3 cars with no problems

The only caveat is that the car must be CLEAN

Default Exactly! - not made in China scratches, but seriously a towel may trap dirt on surface better than

chamois - which sucks up against paint - or a blade, which will drag dirt against suface
