Default but then you get crappy food and vodka to drink...

I'll stick to Kentucky for my drink, and there's too much food to choose

Default my "cheap" drink has always been JD No. 7...

which I know, technically it isn't a bourbon, it's a Tenessee whiskey, but they pass it through charcoal filters to take on the bourbon flavor. The only competing bourbon at that level is Jim Beam, and it is a poor excuse for bourbon. Now I love to have a glass of Basil Hayden's or Blanton's on the rocks every now and then, just not as a party beverage I've been through bourbon tasting with Wild Turkey's head distiller in a small private group at a brewery I worked for, and that was quite the experience. especially when I had to call for a ride home at 1:30 in the afternoon

Default Nice! Always have JD on hand, but my "brown liquor" of choice is Maker's Mark

Maker's Mark with 4 ice cubes (no more, no less) and a few dashes of Angostura bitters. Yum! I'm even an "official" Maker's Mark Ambassador and somewhere there is a barrel of bourbon with my name on it... literally!

Maker's Mark Ambassador
