Koni Coilover Issue

Ahhhhg! Help!
I drove it around the block and something definately seems wrong. I am going to the dealer thursday for the cluster recall/replacement and I was going to have an alignment, however I am afraid to have it aligned. Since its not "tight". I mean if I hit a bump wont it go down? AhhhhhhhggggggG!

If something feels wrong, then review your work...>
but honestly, that gap is normal.

That top cap is just there to keep the suspension fom dropping out of the car when you go airborne. It's a cost saving design, but VWhas used it for years.

;) Ok, I trust you guys!
I triple checked it. I actually took both sides all the way back apart and checked them twice now, since the initial build. I feel much better with you guys saying that. John thats a sweet color by the way. R8 in Aviator Grey would be my dream replacement for my 2001 225QC Aviator grey TT

Other than the gap (which is NORMAL), what do you think is wrong? What are you feeling/hearing/doin
that makes you suspect there is a problem? If there is an issue, you have not posted any symptoms that would help us identify it yet...
