Langka Woes
So I spent the weekend unsuccessfully trying to cover up a bunch of shallow (not down to the metal) scratches on my car. No matter what I did, I'd wind up taking the paint inside the scratch off with the blob. I tried a variety of drying durations (40min, 2.5 hours, 14 hours), with no difference.
My only (partial) successes were on a few deep chips and a deep scratch, where Langka successfully kept some paint within the scratch/pit. I'm in the process now of applying the clear-coat, in the hopes that that'll hide some of the more shallow scratches.
The wierd thing is that two of the shallow scratches have simply disappeared. While the others look no different than they previously had, these two have been filled in to the point that I don't even know where to apply the clearcoat! My only explanation is that perhaps they weren't scratches at all, but just marks.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I might try?
