Is anyone currently negotiating a lease on a 225C? I am trying to keep track of the best residual and maney factor numbers so that I will know what to expect when my 225C comes in. If you could also let me know which bank/finance company the deal is with it would be helpful.

I did a lease with VW Credit two weeks ago when my 225c came in. I don't have the money factor handy, but I believe the residual was 64 percent of MSRP. Three years, 12K miles/year. Monthly payment with 10 percent local tax is about $660. Nothing down except the $500 deposit the dealer took at the time of order. I thought it was an expensive lease. I had a standby commitment from e-loan, but decided to lease instead. There were effectively no negotiations.

I'm preparing to negotiate a lease with my Audi dealer on a 225R that arrives in October. The residual is 63%. The money factor is 4.25. Monthly payment is $768... ouch. Anyone else have advice negotiating a lease like this?
